Game Over for Criminal Networks in South America, the Caribbean, and Beyond
Defining Moments for American Warriors
There are moments in history that define what it means to be an American warrior — moments where we don’t flinch, don’t negotiate, don’t falter in our resolve, and don’t allow the weak-minded to dictate the fate of the United States along with the rest of the free world.
On the early morning hours of January 25, 2012, I was honored to be a part of an operation that parachuted into the darkness of Somalia to rescue an American aid worker, Jessica Buchanan. The stakes could not have been higher with an innocent American citizen’s life on the line. We moved fast, hit hard, and brought her home. That mission was not about politics. It was about resolve. It was about fulfilling the oath of service that each one of us swore to and took to defend this amazing country against all enemies, both foreign and domestic.
I’ve spent my life helping confront the world’s most dangerous threats that America and our Allies face: terrorists, drug traffickers, and Marxist extremists hiding behind ideology while poisoning entire nations. That experience leaves you with clarity — evil only survives when good men hesitate.
Maduro’s Criminal Regime and Its Fall
For too long, Nicolás Maduro and his criminal regime operated with impunity. They called themselves revolutionaries while running a narco-state that flooded drugs into the United States, laundered money through regional allies, and funded radical movements designed to destabilize America from within. This was never socialism. It was organized crime wrapped in a red flag supported by America’s greatest power competitors as well.
And then history caught up with him.
On January 3, 2026, I felt the same pride I felt on past battlefields when American forces carried out a powerful and decisive arrest of the Venezuelan dictator and his wife. It sent a message the entire hemisphere understood: no title, no palace, no propaganda shield, no adversary country can protect you forever.
Predictably, his comrades began screaming about breaches of international law. It suits them to discover legal principles now. They were silent when Maduro and his circle turned Venezuela into a global drug corridor. Silent when entire institutions were corrupted. Silent when millions of Venezuelans were forced to flee their homeland to escape hunger, repression, and brutality. Silent when their election integrity was severely compromised.
Their outrage is selective. Their morality is fake.
Accomplices Across Latin America and the Caribbean
And Maduro never stood alone.
For years, his comrades and accomplices across Latin America and the Caribbean made pilgrimages to Caracas. They came to pay homage. They smiled for cameras, shook hands, and pledged loyalty to a criminal Marxist network that spanned the hemisphere. These were not diplomatic visits — they were meetings of accomplices.
They knew exactly who Maduro was. They knew about the drug routes, the armed gangs, the corruption, the Chinese, Russian, and Cuban intelligence presence, and the money flowing through offshore networks. And still, they played the double game — smiling in Washington while bowing in Caracas.
Let this be clear to every one of those comrades: you are not invisible. You are not neutral. And you are not untouchable.
A New Western Hemisphere Doctrine
The Western Hemisphere has shifted.
Under President Donald J. Trump, Secretary of State Marco Rubio, and Secretary of War Pete Hegseth, America has returned to a doctrine the world understands and respects— peace through strength. The days of hiding behind fake international law, staged fraudulent elections, and Marxist slogans are over.
As a former DEVGRU operator, I applaud the special operations forces and other service members who have once again demonstrated a simple truth: America can come and get you — even in your bed. I’ve seen it happen. I’ve lived it. When the decision is made, there is nowhere to run. Nowhere to hide
Message to Criminal Networks: Game Over
To the criminal networks of South America, the Caribbean, and beyond — and to every accomplice who enabled them — understand this: you trafficked drugs to poison our nation’s citizens, funded radicals, destabilized nations, and played a double game with Communist China and Russia. Now the bill has come due.
You cannot hide anymore. You cannot bluff anymore. And you cannot outrun what’s coming. Under the command of strong leadership out of Washington, your time is closing in. We will not waiver, we will not falter, we will not hesitate anymore in our pursuit against America’s enemies...
