In Episode 11 of The Homeland on Proud American Studios, host Dean Cain welcomes Republican Congressman Randy Fine of Florida for a conversation that covers the threats most elected officials refuse to name out loud.
Fine is a Harvard-educated businessman turned congressman who has spent his first year in Washington learning exactly how bad things are on the inside. He does not soften the assessment.
The episode was recorded on the same day Secretary of State Marco Rubio delivered a landmark speech declaring far-left political terrorism a clear and present danger to the United States. That timing is not a coincidence. Everything Fine and Cain discuss sits inside that frame.
Secretary Rubio’s Warning and the Administration’s Response
Cain opens the episode by walking through Rubio’s speech in full. The Secretary described radical leftism as “a poisonous resentment cloaked in the language of equality and justice.” He put the world on notice that the administration intends to crush far-left terror networks that coordinate across borders using encrypted communications, financing, and safe houses.
Cain connects the speech to what is already happening on American soil:
- Three assassination attempts on President Trump.
- Organized Antifa and Marxist groups calling for violent revolution.
- DSA candidates winning races.
- Coordinated attacks on law enforcement officers, including the doxing of recently retired ICE Director Todd Lyons and his family.
Secretary Bessent and Stephen Miller are addressing terrorist financing and critical infrastructure at an ongoing summit. Administration officials made clear the effort targets criminal and terrorist violence, not political beliefs.
A senior State Department official told reporters,
“In America, you can believe anything you want.
The minute that you cross the line and that legal threshold, that changes.”
Tucker Carlson and the Rise of Anti-Semitism
When Fine joins the conversation, Cain wastes no time. He asks Fine about Tucker Carlson’s public attacks, including being called “that creepy fat guy from Florida who endorsed genocide.”
Fine does not flinch. He says Carlson has “devolved into some sort of stew of idiocy” and that President Trump has effectively excommunicated him from the Republican Party. Carlson has asked Fine to appear on his show approximately forty times. Fine has refused every single one.

Fine then broadens the conversation to anti-Semitism at large. He states plainly that accusations of genocide against Israel are themselves anti-Semitic, designed to devalue real genocide.
His argument is simple. Israel had the capability to destroy Gaza entirely. They chose not to. Thousands of Israeli soldiers died to minimize civilian casualties. The population of Gaza has actually grown.
Cain, who produced an Emmy-winning documentary on anti-Semitism a decade ago, says conditions have worsened dramatically since then.
Israel, Netanyahu, and the Three Men Who Saved the World
Fine credits Prime Minister Netanyahu with holding Israel together across eight fronts of conflict during a period when the country was largely without allied government support. He does not hedge the claim.
He names three figures he believes history will credit with saving the world: Netanyahu, President Trump, and Elon Musk.
On Musk, Fine’s reasoning is specific. He believes that if Musk had not purchased X, the ability to communicate openly and freely would have ended. That purchase preserved free speech at a moment when every other platform was moving toward censorship.
On Netanyahu, Fine describes what happened after October 7th, 2023. Israel spent the rest of 2023, all of 2024, and the first twenty days of 2025 largely alone in terms of government allies. Fine says he does not know if anyone other than Netanyahu could have held the country together during that stretch.
Iran: No Negotiation With Evil
The conversation turns to Iran, and Fine draws the hardest line of the episode.
He begins by praising Vice President Vance’s effort to negotiate. He says the failure does not belong to Vance, to Americans, to critics, or to Israel. It belongs to a regime that does not share Western values.
We are not one giant human family. There is good and there is evil in the world. The religious leaders who run Iran hate America because they hate our values. In their world, we would all live like they live in Afghanistan.

Fine compares the situation directly to World War II. America did not negotiate with the Nazis. America beat them. They surrendered. He believes the same outcome is coming for Iran.
He also praises Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth and his leadership team at the Pentagon. Fine attended a classified briefing this week that he describes as one of the best presentations he has ever received. He says the team Hegseth has assembled consists of extraordinarily successful private-sector leaders who do not need the grief that comes with government service.
Islamism, CAIR, and the 44 Percent
Fine cites a statistic released the same week: 44 percent of American Muslims surveyed said they support Hamas.
He does not treat this as a fringe issue. He points out that 44 percent reflects only those who were willing to say it openly. The real number, he argues, is higher.
Fine distinguishes between individual Muslims who want to participate in the American melting pot and a mainstream ideological movement that demands others submit to its religious framework.
In Judaism and Christianity, we believe we can practice our own religion in peace, prosperity, and privacy. But in mainstream Islam, they believe that in order for them to practice their religion, you have to practice their religion, or you at least have to submit to their religion. — Rep. Randy Fine
He details his bill to designate the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) as a terrorist organization. He cites a case where CAIR argued that Muslim children had a First Amendment right to vandalize a church because their religion required it.
Fine also discusses his “Thump Thump Act,” passed in Florida in 2021. The law permits drivers to proceed through protesters blocking roads. No one has been struck because the law serves as a deterrent. He has now filed the bill at the federal level.
New York, Mamdani, and the Immigration Question
Both Cain and Fine address New York City Mayor Zoran Mamdani. Fine describes him as someone who came to America ten years ago, does not share American values, and seeks to destroy the country from within.
Fine states he believes Mamdani lied to obtain his citizenship. He says it should be investigated, revoked, and Mamdani should be sent back to Uganda.
He then broadens the frame to immigration. He questions whether the left deliberately flooded the border with illegal immigrants to distract from legal immigration that brought individuals hostile to American values. Nine percent of Americans now do not speak English.
Fine points to the candidates the Democratic Party is putting forward. A woman who said she wants to wipe her dirty hands on the American flag. A near-nominee in Maine with a Nazi tattoo. A city councilwoman in California who will not say the Pledge of Allegiance.
His read on why they want to serve in Congress: they want to destroy the country from the inside.
Congress, the First Year, and the Road Ahead
Fine describes his first year in Congress as harder than expected. The scrutiny is constant. He is away from his family. Media vultures hover outside the chamber floor waiting with gotcha questions.
But the worst part is serving alongside people he believes actively hate America.
He references a vote in which a majority of Democrats voted to defund Israel and cut Iron Dome funding. He describes it without any attempt to soften it.
Half the people I serve with hate America. If you think Ilhan Omar, if you think Zoran Mamdani, if you think Rashida Tlaib love America, you’re out of your mind. They think America’s fundamentally an evil place and it is their goal to destroy it.

Fine’s message to viewers is direct. The tools the left uses to silence conservatives do not work on him. He intends to fight every day to prevent the Republican Party from suffering the same ideological capture that consumed the Democrats over the past thirty years.
He refuses to ignore the fringe. He watched it happen at Harvard. The lunatics showed up, the institution said ignore them, they’ll go away. They did not go away. They took over.
Fine will not let that happen again.
