On Episode 2 of THE HEAVY, Proud American Studios Vice President Trey Lindsey delivers a blunt operational assessment of the U.S. campaign against Iran. Trey spent over 18 years in the Navy SEAL teams, including 13 years at the Tier One Special Mission Unit, DEVGRU (SEAL Team Six). He retired in October 2022 and holds peace officer licenses in both Texas and Louisiana.
His conclusion is unambiguous: the 38-day U.S. bombing campaign was the most one-sided military conflict in modern history, ending in a decisive American victory.
Iran’s Military: Beyond 80 Percent Destroyed
“Iran is beyond 80 plus percent. Their military has been degraded and absolutely destroyed,” Trey states on the episode. “They did not just get punched in the mouth. They got their teeth knocked down their throat.”
The numbers speak for themselves. Iran’s Navy is gone. Their Air Force is gone. U.S. and Israeli forces have nearly eliminated their missile capacity. The IRGC’s senior leadership has been stripped away layer by layer.
Martinez notes that the first and second-ranking officials have been eliminated. Trey adds the reality may be worse: “You could probably even make the argument it might be fourth or fifth at this point.”
The Disparity That Defines “One-Sided”
On the American side: 13 service members lost their lives. Iran was set back two decades in military capability. The American military machine sustained minimal damage while delivering total destruction of its adversary’s capacity.
“Tell me another time, in modern day, at least since the beginning of the United States, there’s ever been a victory against a very formidable military that had such a lopsided victory over them,” Trey challenges.
What the MOU Actually Means
The panel addresses the memorandum of understanding with Iran directly. This is not a peace treaty. It is a pause with conditions.
President Trump’s own words from the G7 in France were played during the episode: “It’s a memorandum of understanding, and if I don’t like it, we’ll go back to shooting at him, dropping bombs on their head.”
A One-and-a-Half Page Document
Martinez describes the terms as simple. The document is one-and-a-half to two pages. Behave, and sanctions ease. Step out of line, and the bombing resumes. The credibility of that threat is no longer theoretical. It was proven over 38 days.
Trump contrasted his approach with the Obama-era JCPOA during the G7 press conference, referencing $1.7 billion in cash flown to Iran on a Boeing 757. His characterization: a failed bribe that the Iranians laughed at.
Trey’s Reservation
Trey supports the MOU but voices a personal concern: “My only reservation is that the Iranian regime is still standing. It was very weakened, but they are still standing. I was hoping we’d give them the knockout punch and have regime change.”
He adds: “There’s definitely no confusion on Trump’s foreign policy when it comes to Iran. If they misbehave again, they’re going to start putting warheads through foreheads.”
The Strategic Picture: Why This Victory Changes Everything
Martinez connects the decisive military victory to broader geopolitical shifts now underway. The panel identifies several strategic consequences:
Qatar has reportedly committed to investing a trillion dollars in the U.S. economy. Iran’s ability to sell discounted oil to China is likely over. Martinez expects pricing will now be denominated in U.S. dollars.
The Venezuela Precedent
The panel draws a direct comparison to Venezuela, where U.S. pressure led to the removal of Maduro and the installation of leadership that is cooperating with American interests. The same dynamic, in their assessment, now applies to Iran.
“Do I trust the Iranians? Of course not,” Martinez states. “But Trump never said he’s going to go and kill every single one of them. They have a memorandum of understanding. It’s up to the Iranians to behave.”
A Message to Israel
Martinez, who describes himself as extremely pro-Israeli with family in Israel and a son-in-law serving in the IDF, urges calm. His message: President Trump is the one who pushed the button. No other American president attacked and destroyed Iran’s military capacity. Israel’s friends should remember that.
The Abraham Accords: The Long-Term Framework
The panel identifies the Abraham Accords as the most consequential framework for lasting Middle Eastern peace. Proud American Studios announces it will produce a documentary on the Accords, with filming planned in Israel, Dubai, Morocco, and Washington, D.C.
Martinez frames the reality directly: “This thing is not going to be resolved by killing everyone. That’s not going to happen. So at the end of the day, peace has to come into play.”
Trey agrees: “Trump is trying to give peace a chance. He tried to do it up until the time he gave the orders to eliminate and decimate Iran’s military.”
The Downed Pilot: No American Left Behind
Trey highlights an incident during the campaign where a U.S. fighter jet was shot down and the pilot went missing. The full weight of the U.S. military was deployed to recover that pilot.
“Whether you’re a U.S. citizen, a service member, anywhere in the world, the U.S. military and U.S. government, at least under this administration, will stop at nothing to make sure you are brought home safely,” Trey states.
His assessment of what this demonstrates: “When the men and women of the military have the approvals, authorities, and the assets to do the job, there is absolutely nothing, no military objective that will not be achieved.”
Hollywood Is Stealing Taxpayer Money. The FBI Is Now Involved.
In the episode’s second segment, Proud American Studios President Michael Koscielniak joins the panel. Koscielniak is a retired HSI Special Agent and former state trooper who now leads the studio’s Special Investigations Unit.
The Whistleblower and the Scheme
The investigation began when a whistleblower who spent his career in Hollywood witnessing fraud came forward with documentation. The scheme: studios enter states offering film tax incentives (Louisiana, Georgia, Puerto Rico), inflate their production costs, and pocket the difference at taxpayer expense.
“Everybody’s in on it,” Koscielniak states. “The attorneys, the bankers, the bridge-loaners, the movie studios themselves.”
Formally Referred to the FBI
The case has been formally referred to the FBI. Koscielniak expects the full investigation to be made public within the coming months. A previous clip discussing the probe went viral on X with over 2 million views.
Hollywood's Reaction
When Martinez introduced Koscielniak to a studio head as part of the investigation, the executive’s response was immediate: “Get him away. We don’t want him here.”
Leigh Scott adds context from his experience in the industry: “Especially in states like Louisiana, Georgia, and Puerto Rico. These are not rich areas. These huge productions come down there and basically loot the state of taxpayer money to pay actors who then turn around and spit on those people.”
Koscielniak on Iran: The Procurement Networks Will Rebuild
Koscielniak also weighed in on Iran from his professional experience. During his 20 years at HSI, he worked Iranian sanctions cases, including one involving gas turbines being transshipped from the U.S. through Germany and Dubai into Iranian nuclear programs.
His concern: “They’re very good at it. They’re very quick and very resourceful at building their networks back up and going right back to work.” Continued vigilance will be required.
America’s 250th: The Great American State Fair
The episode closes with the announcement that Proud American Studios will be at the Great American State Fair for the nation’s 250th anniversary celebration. Dean Cain will conduct a major interview on the main stage on June 27.
